
ABOUT
The Wisconsin Hosta Society is organized exclusively as a non-profit educational society to promote the knowledge of and interest in the genus Hosta, to encourage the development of new and improved varieties, and to promote its cultivation and usefulness in the landscape.​

Our activities include:
* Garden Expo booth ~ 2nd weekend in February
* 4 meetings at Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison with social time and a speaker ~ held
the 1st Wednesday evening of the month in March, April, September, and October
* Leaf Show Competition & Ice Cream Social ~ in mid to late June
* Bus Trip with garden tours and opportunities to purchase hostas and other garden items
~ usually in July
* Family Picnic & Hosta Auction ~ the 1st weekend in August
* Harvest Party ~ the 1st weekend in November
* This year 2026, we are hosting the Midwest Regional Hosta Society Convention right here
in Madison, WI from July 9-11. It’s a Golden Anniversary Celebration!
