The Jeff Miller Service Award was created to recognize the contributions of an outstanding member of the Wisconsin Hosta Society for their service to the group.  The award is named after the late Jeff Miller (former WHS President and founder of Land of the Giants Hosta Farm) to recognize, honor and celebrate Jeff’s many contributions of time and talents to the Wisconsin Hosta Society.  Jeff Miller, the man we are honoring with this award, passed away in 2021. Current and future recipients of this award are nominated by the WHS Board members and selected by a simple majority of the Board.  The award will be given to the chosen recipient at the Fall Harvest Party.

The criteria used for selection to receive the award is to acknowledge:

• The long-term service of the member to the WHS.

• The various contributions of the member to the WHS.

• The consistent participation of the member in WHS meetings, activities and events.​​
